Java Saga is a taiwanese restaurant in Doraville, Georgia. It is listed at 5145 Buford Hwy NE E, Doraville, GA 30340, which places it among the local businesses of Doraville that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Google also lists it under asian fusion restaurant, asian restaurant, breakfast restaurant, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.
Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11 amβ8 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (770) 696-4565. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, javasaga.coffee.
Customers rate it 4.8 out of 5 on Google across 515 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded taiwanese restaurants in Doraville.
Doraville is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Doraville is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Georgia's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Have you ever tried Taiwanese 5 spice before? If not, donβt be scared. Itβs delicious. A bit of both sweet and yet spice filled. Think garlic and anise with a dash of cinnamon. Itβs comforting and delicious. The creamy slaw and fancy buns bring it all together. We may be in the south but this is FRIED chicken!!

I love Java Saga and recommend the ABC sandwich to everyone! The food is always fresh and the serving sizes are huge. I love that they have outdoor seating with lots of plants. My only complaint is that I wish they were open later on weekdays (until 10:00 at least) and later on Sundays!

If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would! The food was something completely different from the usual options and absolutely worth trying. Every bite was unique, flavorful, and made for a memorable dining experience. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and happy to answer questions and offer recommendations. Their service made the visit even better. Great food, great drinks, and exceptional service. Highly recommended!

Food didnβt hit it for me. The flour to chicken ratio was off. Itβs never a good sign when the side of fries was better than the sandwich. But the service was good and the outdoor patio was really nice. Maybe we had an off day. But based solely on this experience, wouldnβt recommend.

So this is one of my favorite duck offs when it comes to sandwiches. You come to this spot, and it's a shopping center, and there's free parking, and there is seating around there, but it's very limited. There are a couple of indoor but a few outdoor as well, so you don't have to worry about stopping if you want to take a quick bite to eat, but don't bring a large crowd. The ABC chicken sandwich is the star of the show, and it's made to perfection. It comes with fries and a combo, and the fries are really good as well. They have a few of dipping sauce options. But the food is so seasoned that you may not necessarily need it. The sandwich comes on a bun, but it's definitely larger than the bun, and that's okay. If you're hungry, you'll definitely do this and go sit out somewhere, because you'll be full, most likely from the sandwich itself. You can get several different spice levels. The first couple of spice levels are free, but if you want to go up, it's a little bit more, only by like a dollar or two, which is not that bad. It comes with a sauce already, and it comes with coleslaw. The coleslaw actually helps if you get something really hot; the dairy and the coleslaw help cool
